Blackness Bay Distillery
Blackness Bay Distillery is a small, traditional Scottish distillery which produces a delightful selection of whiskeys and rums.
Located on the shores of the Firth of Forth, we are housed within the oldest building in Blackness – made famous by the world renowned Outlander series.
Our Blackness whisky & rum distillery and adjoining pub/restaurant, The Lobster Pot, offers the perfect day out for anyone who wants to learn about the art of distilling, while savouring the taste of our artisan spirits
In keeping with centuries of tradition, our whisky and rum are distilled using the same process as our ancestors.
We use natural, locally sourced malted barley. and sugar cane molasses which are pot stilled in twin copper vessels.
The resulting spirit is matured in oak barrels, with each barrel imparting its own unique flavour on the whisky or rum inside.
