Carrs Hill campsite's two Safari Tents, known affectionately as Hazel and Jennifer, are truly home from home but without the distractions of home life.
Both tents are 'off grid' meaning they have no mains power supply and all lighting is by storm lanterns, solar lights, candles and torches - a fantastic way to create a memorable experience for the children and a truly romantic atmosphere for the adults once the children are safely tucked up in bed!
Although the tents are off grid, there are power points provided in the Reception building a short distance away to charge mobile telephones and plug in the all important hair dryers and straighteners....
Carr's Hill aims to provide an away from technology experience for families and to allow the art of conversation to be reinvigorated! Each tent has board games provided and we encourage relaxation, reading and running around for both children and adults alike.
