The perfect location for exploring central Scotland! Our six lodges are nestled in a historic walled garden that feels like you're out in the country when you're really just 30 minutes from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, 20 minutes from Stirling, and 10 minutes from Falkirk, and there's a supermarket, post office, restaurants, pubs, and takeaways within a ten-minute walk! Head the other way and you're into a walk around a reservoir, through leafy woodland on the Antonine Wall.
All units have free wifi, flat-screen TV, an 'en-suite' bathroom, comfy living area, and basic cooking facilities, backed up by a guest laundry and fully-equipped kitchen, and communal BBQ deck and fire-pit. There's one unit designed for people travelling with dogs (has a gated garden area and dog-washing kit), and another designed for those with cats (including double-door entry to prevent escapes, and scratching posts/climbing frames and a rope-bridge on the walls), as well as three others that take any pet, and one that's pet-free for allergy-sufferers. This family-run site is a social enterprise (not-for-profit), raising funds for mental health work, and to support the maintenance of the listed building whose garden it occupies.
Lots of garden space for playing; an assortment of garden toys and games; swing/slide set; cots, highchairs, baby walkers and baby bath available to borrow; free wifi; board games, jigsaws, art supplies, and art easel available.
