Our Falkirk base is at the foot of the famous Falkirk Wheel in Scotland. This is the world’s first rotating boat lift, which gives boats and boaters an uplifting ride as they use the canal network which goes through the heart of Falkirk, move west onto the Forth and Clyde Canal or East to the Union Canal.
Cruising west can take you to the centre of Glasgow which is known for being one of the most lively and cosmopolitan cities in Europe. It has been reborn as a centre of style and vitality set against a backdrop of outstanding Victorian architecture. So if you like tradition and modernity then Glasgow is the place for you.
The Union Canal on the other hand will take you past the world famous Kelpies all the way to the heart of historical Edinburgh. Princes Street is applauded for a great shopping experience and Edinburgh Castle and Zoo are great attractions for a fun, exciting day out.
