Explore Kinneil House and meet the Roman Antonine Guard, with medieval re-enactment group Britannia XIV demonstrating skills of the time!

As part of Doors Open Days, Kinneil House will open for self guided tours, with a re-enactment camp in the immediate grounds consisting of Romans, Medieval folks, a flintknapper and a retail table – where visitors can sample roman baking. Inside the house we’ll also have stonemasons engaging with our visitors.

Local charity The Friends of Kinneil will also be providing kids craft activities on the day. Refreshments will be available in the Kinneil Museum.
