Travelling Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in a bus. Since 1978 it’s been bringing exhibitions to communities throughout Scotland. Come and visit the newest exhibition for free right here in Falkirk!

Continuing Travelling Gallery’s 2026 programme is the Season 2 exhibition from August until November. User Interface: Coded Craft is a group exhibition bringing together a number of contemporary craft artists and makers whose work sits at the interface between digital technology and traditional handcraft. All of those featured utilise technology to expand their practices with a shared focus on looking at how contemporary craft can play a significant role in pursuing ecological innovation for a more sustainable future.

Since the gallery’s inception, the exterior wrap of the bus has been an important and vibrant part of the Travelling Gallery. Viewed by many thousands on the motorways, B-roads, ferry terminals and lay-bys along our routes, the artwork visually frames so much of what we do; intriguing, engaging and encouraging members of the public to come on board.
