Nothing much can happen on Halloween… can it?

Dare to join us for a journey into the darkness aboard our historic steam train this Halloween… but be warned. Strange disturbances have been reported by the Station Master at Birkhill, and as night falls, something unsettling is stirring along the line.

👻 Ghosts, witches and ghastly tales

As the steam train rolls through the darkness, prepare for a spine-tingling ghost story on board. Hear the chilling legend of the haunting of Kinneil House, the terrible tale of the White Lady, and the dark history of the Bo’ness witches who met their fate at Corbiehall.

🚂 Alight at Birkhill… if you dare!

Step down onto the platform at Birkhill Station, if you have the courage. For rumours abound that the walking dead emerge on Halloween night… and they may be closer than you think!

🏮 A lantern walk through haunted halls

Once safely back at Bo’ness, join our spooky guide for a lantern-lit walk to the Museum of Scottish Railways. Keep your eyes peeled as you explore our haunted halls — you never know when one of our friendly ghosts might appear!

🎨 Halloween fun for little monsters, too!

We have one spooky departures which you can book: The spook-tacular experience lasts around one hour and ends up back at Bo’ness Station under darkness (…at least we hope to make it back!)
